In the 1.0 version, you are not allowed to add images in the WYSIWYG element. The possible workaround is to use a Rich Text element instead. This native EE rich text editor allow publishers / editors to add images. You can learn more about it here: Rich Text field
We expect to add this feature in a future release of Content Elements.
