Whenever possible, Content Elements is trying to store the data in a raw format. This applies to:
- Heading
- Text Field
- Text Area
- Table
- Gallery
Even though the data is stored in raw format, some elements might output additional tags when used in ExpressionEngine templates.
For example, you don’t need to wrap Heading into h1/h2/h3/etc. tags as these will automatically get added depending on what heading level the editor chose on the publish page.
Also, when using WYSIWYG or Rich-text field, the data will be stored with all the formatting and styles you’ve used while editing the text.
